Your family changes and grows each year. Which is why extended family photography is so important! When I photograph extended families and see multiple generations coming together, I get to witness some amazing dynamics! Capturing grandparents, parents, in-laws, cousins, grandchildren, it’s an honor! The process itself is a little different than a normal cherry hill family photography session, because there are so many different groupings! So, of course, arranging everyone takes a little more time. I like to start with the full group and then break it down into the smaller grouping from there.

Capturing the Whittendale family’s cherry hill family photography this past summer was so much fun! You can tell how much they all love to be together, and how much the grandparents love their grandchildren! I started out with the entire family together, and then broke it down from there with the individual families! Capturing the grandparents with their grandchildren is always a fun and favorite photo! Also, at the end of the session, I made sure to capture a photo of just the parents who started it all! For most, it has been a while since they’ve had a photo of just the two of them, so I get some awkward giggles that are always sweet to capture!
